Maelynn Sue Keefer, 3 months, of Point Pleasant, became “Heaven’s Little Angel” Saturday, October 20, 2012, at the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born July 16, 2012, in Huntington, the daughter of Cody Ray Keefer and Vera Sue Brunk of Point Pleasant.
Maelynn was greatly loved by her daddy and mommy. Each evening they would read her favorite book which said, “The moon is high. The sea is deep. They rock and rock and rock to sleep.”
She is survived, in addition to her parents, by maternal grandmother, Ronda Sue (Delaney) Dixon of Cape Coral, Fla.; maternal great-grandmother, Donna Sue Delany of Gallipolis, Ohio; paternal grandfather, William R. Keefer of Point Pleasant; paternal grandmother, Bonnie Keefer of Point Pleasant; aunts and uncles, Stephanie Cuadrao, Robert Brunk, Colton L. Keefer, Travis Keefer and Tara Eblin; and many great-aunts and great-uncles.
Maelynn was preceded in death by maternal great-grandfather, Ronnie Delaney; and paternal grandparents, Okey L. and Mary A. Keefer.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Truman Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Southside. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
