Suspect still sought in armed robbery

MASON — A man wanted for the armed robbery of a convenience store on Friday evening is still at large.

According to the Mason County Sheriff’s Department, deputies were dispatched to the Fast 4-U convenience store just north of Mason in reference to an armed robbery which occurred around 9:50 p.m., Nov. 8.

The male suspect produced a black handgun and demanded money. The clerk followed the suspect’s directions and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as being 5’7” to 5’9” tall and weighing about 140 to 160 pounds. At the time of the robbery the suspect was wearing dark jeans, tennis shoes with black soles and a camouflage hunting mask with dark glasses.
