Point Pleasant Junior High and High School is bringing a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel “A Christmas Carol” to the stage later this week. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Kitti Kaylor, director, said that 30 students from grades 7-12 are involved and the cast has been working since September. Kaylor added that many of the students in the play have never had any acting experience, so “this is a real treat for them.” She said that the play will be shown to students during the school day this Friday. Shown are Shane Ward as Jacob Marley, Elias Towner as Ebenezer Scrooge, and Charles Adkins as the spirit of Christmas past.
