Happenings at Crosslight of Hope

March 11, 2014

The youth at Ashton Baptist Church spent January and February collecting canned soup for Crosslight of Hope. Their efforts of collecting more than 150 cans helped the food pantry and the people they serve.

Mt. Zion Baptist Church also felt the need to give back. The church’s congregation stepped up to the challenge to raise more than 500 cans. The goal was not only met, but exceeded. Total amount of cans members collected was 572. The youth of the church is pictured with some donations.

Siblings Zander and Zoey Watson bought and collected hygiene products for Crosslight of Hope during February to help the ministry with their drive for toothbrushes and toothpaste. Each month, Crosslight hosts a drive and the Watson children are always happy to help.

National titleholder Brittany Sayre of Point Pleasant once again has assisted Crosslight of Hope - this time in a big way. The PURE American National Queen donated a mattress and box spring to the ministry as well as many toothbrushes.
