Solving Shantyboat Night

April 11, 2014

Shantyboat Night at the Point Pleasant River Museum on Friday, pictured, brought out several amateur detectives. Aside from a good meal, visitors to Shantyboat Night were treated to an interactive murder mystery. The Murder and Merriment Interactive Murder Mystery Theatre Troupe performed “Dead Man’s Hand,” a story about riverboat gamblers playing the deadliest poker tournament of their lives. Dinner-goers were trying to solve the mystery to win a prize. Shantyboat night is one of the museum’s major fundraisers and first big event of the year.
