ASHTON — A Milton man has been picked up on a warrant alleging he was operating a meth lab out of his residence on Ashton Upland Rd., again.
Jerold A. Fugate, 49, was arrested and charged with operation of a meth lab, pseudoephedrine outside of original state and exposing a minor to meth.
Fugate was arrested on Friday by Cpl. K.M. Gilley of the Mason County Post of the West Virginia State Police. Gilley also arrested Fugate last year for allegedly operating a meth lab out of his trailer as well as from a nearby outbuilding on Ashton Upland Rd. Fugate reportedly confessed to the crime last year and was taken to the Western Regional Jail where his bail was set at $105,000.
After Friday’s arrest, Fugate was returned to the Western Regional Jail where he remained as of Monday afternoon. The Mason County Post reports earlier this month troopers discoverd another alleged meth lab at Fugate’s residence on Ashton Upland Rd. The discovery prompted troopers to issue a warrant for Fugate’s arrest.
