POINT PLEASANT — The Point Pleasant Lions Club met Thursday, Jan. 21, at Pleasant Valley Hospital for its bi-monthly meeting.

During the meeting, three new members were inducted into the club by Lion District Governor, Eddie Queen. Those members include Leigh Ann Baird, Cary Supple and Bryon Cromley. Lions President Charles Huber presented Lions pins and certificates of membership to the new inductees. A dinner followed the ceremony.

The Lions Club of Point Pleasant and its members work year round to collect money to purchase glasses for those in need and for children. They also support other Mason County organizations including Tu-Endie-Wei and Fort Randolph, to name a few.

In the future, club members hope to sponsor a White Cane Sale to collect and send funds to Haiti survivors.
