Point Pleasant Primary School recently held its Inaugural “Leap into the ARTS” evening. Families were entertained through singing, dancing, hand bell performance, readers theatre, and much more by the students.

Representatives who added to the evening were Farmers Bank, the school’s our partner in education; the Mason County Library; Valerie Thomas from the Artisan Shoppe; Janet Kincaid, one of the school’s read aloud volunteers; PPHS student volunteers; a Play-Doh making demonstration by school staff, and the school’s very own Cat in the Hat.

Following the program, parents and students were dismissed to view the art exhibits displayed throughout the building. According to Principal Vickie Workman and staff, the evening was a collaborative effort and all expressed gratitude to those who helped make “Leap into the ARTS” a “success.”
