Mason County EMS

Mason County EMS reports personnel were toned out a total of 284 times between Sept. 16-30. Station 100 had 155 calls, Station 200 had 41 calls and Station 500 had 88 these include all calls, transports as well as emergencies and others. There were 137 patients taken to the area hospitals: 86 to PVH, 15 to HMC-G, 3 to HMC-P, 11 to SMH, 10 to CHH, 2 to Marietta Memorial, 2 to OSU, 2 O’Bleness, 1 to United Hospital Center- WVUHS, 2 to CAMC Memorial, 1 to CAMC General, 1 to CAMC Teays Valley, 1 to Highland Hospital; these include transports as well as emergencies. All three station made 284 calls which resulted in not taking a patient anywhere: 17 cancelled enroute, 19 patients refused care, 11 treated then refused, 2 dead on scene, 5 no patient contact, 5 ALS assists, 2 stand by, 3 air medical, 1 BLS treated, transported by ALS. Out of the 242 emergencies that were toned and treated, but not necessarily transported: 46 general medical, 5 altered mental status, 6 Abdominal Pain, 1 allergic reaction, 12 breathing problems, 20 chest pains, 2 cardiac arrest, 5 diabetic emergency, 7 fall victim, 1 fractured body part, 3 overdose, 1 GI bleed, 5 head injury, 2 psychiatric problem, 1 CVA, 3 seizures, 2 hypotension, 1 hypertension. There were 13 ALS transports and 105 transports.
