Mason County EMS

March 1- 14, Mason County EMS was toned out a total of 209 times. Station 100 had 129 (61.7%) calls, Station 200 had 30 (14.4%) calls and Station 500 had 50 (23.9%) this includes all calls, transports, emergencies and all others. There were 91 total which broke down into 26 general medical, 8 abdominal pain, 1 allergic reaction, 10 altered mental status, 10 breathing problems, 2 cardiac arrest, 1 seizures, 3 chest pains, 3 diabetic emergencies, 9 fall, 1 fractured body part, 1 head injury, 1 hemorrhage/laceration, 1 hypertension, 3 overdose, 4 psychiatric problems, 1 respiratory arrest, 3 stroke/CVA and 1 tachycardia.

There were 55 calls which resulted in not taking a patient anywhere: 4 ALS assists, 21 cancelled enroute, 3 lift assist to another EMS Crew, 3 no patient contact, 1 stand by, 11 patients refused care, 10 treated then refused, 1 treated transferred to air medical. Patients taken to area hospitals breaks down as follows: 57 to PVH, 17 to HMC-G, 4 to HMC-P, 13 to SMH, 9 to CHH, 1 Jackson General, CAMC Teays Valley and 1 to OSU. These include transports as well as emergencies.

Transport Breakdown includes: ALS transports, 10. BLS transports, 62. PVH: transferred 50 patients from their facility.
