GALLIPOLIS — The OhioMeansJobs Centers in the southeast Ohio region are offering employers and jobseekers the opportunity to connect at the Southeast Ohio Regional Job Fair scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 30 at the University Rio Grande’s Lyne Center.

Anyone who is unemployed, underemployed, or looking for a career change is encouraged to attend.

The job fair will allow job seekers the opportunity to meet with the area’s best employers. More than 60 companies have registered to attend the job fair, which include GKN Sinter Metals, ElectroCraft, Holzer Health System, Ohio Valley Bank, Bellisio Foods, Ohio Department of Transportation, Southern Ohio Medical Center and Lakin Correctional Center. A complete list of registered companies can be found at www.GrowGallia.com/jobfair.

“This job fair is a great opportunity for those seeking jobs in and around Gallia County to meet and talk to potential employers personally,” said Gallia County Commissioner Harold Montgomery. “The job fair will also help our businesses find the talent they need here in Gallia County”.

Job seekers are encouraged to pre-register for the event, which will not only save time the day of the job fair, but individuals who pre-register will also receive notifications of future job fair and hiring events.

Additional information and online registration forms for both employers and job seekers can be found by vising www.GrowGallia.com/jobfair or contact Melissa Clark at 740-446-4612 ext. 271 or mclark@gallianet.net.
