Launching Lent in Mason County

Ash Wednesday arrived in Mason County, along with the return of the Lenten Luncheon series, sponsored by the Mason County Ministerial Association. All luncheons start at 11:45 a.m. Wednesdays at Trinity UM Church in Point Pleasant and will continue through this Season of Lent, leading up to Easter on March 27. Although all luncheons are held at Trinity, churches from across Mason County alternate providing the meal and message each week. This week, church members from Trinity UM Church hosted the meal and the message was delivered by their very own the Rev. James Kelly III. Next week, the First Church of the Nazarene of Point Pleasant hosts. These are nondenominational services and all are welcome.
