Mason County EMS has released its activity report for May 20-29 as follows:

Mason County EMS was toned out a total of ­­­155 times between May 20-29. Station 100 had 90 calls, Station 200 had 20 calls and Station 500 had 45, these include transports as well as emergencies and others. There were 83 patients taken to the area hospitals: 42 to Pleasant Valley Hopsital, 5 to St. Mary’s Hospital, 14 to Cabell Huntington Hospital,13 to Holzer Medical Center-G, 3 to HMC-P, 4 to CAMC and 1 to OSU East, 1 to OSU these include transports as well as emergencies.

Out of the 155 that all three stations made, 14 calls resulted in not taking a patient anywhere: 1 call cancelled enroute, 1 patient refused care, 1 ALS assists for a BLS squad, 1 dead on scene transported and 1 lifting assist to another crew.

Out of the 72 emergencies that were transport to an area hospital or to a specialized hospital EMS had; 32 general medical, 3 abdominal pain, 1 altered mental status, 9 breathing problems, 6 chest pains, 3 diabetic emergency, 5 fall victim, 2 fractured body part, 1 heat exposure 2 overdose, 2 GI bleed, 6 seizures. The 12 ALS transports inluded: 7 to CHH, 2 to CAMC, 1 to HMC, 2 to SMH. The 56 BLS transports included: from PVH to PVNRC 6, Lakin 1, Arbours 1, CHH 4, Elders care 1, CAMC 1, OSU 1 back to residence 4 and 35 to and back from dialysis centers.
