POINT PLEASANT — Along with releasing its list of entertainers, the Mason County Fair has also released a complete schedule of daily events.
The fair returns Aug. 8-13 at the Mason County Fairgrounds, north of Point Pleasant.
Daily admission for ages 3 and older is $8 per person and includes the carnival rides. Season passes are $25 but does not include carnival rides though a carnival ride ticket can be purchased by pass holders for $5 per day. “Discount Day” is Wednesday, Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. where tickets are $5 per person (includes carnival rides) and season ticket holders can purchase a ride ticket for $3 before 3 p.m. “Senior Citizens Day” is Tuesday, Aug. 9 when seniors over the age of 60 are admitted free.

Monday, Aug. 8: 8 a.m. Showmanship – Hogs, Goats, Lambs, Heifers, Feeder Calves and Steers; 9 a.m. Fair opens and judging some departments closed; 10:30 a.m. Youth 4-H Horse Show; noon Balloon Sandwich; 4:45 p.m. Jason Eades Memorial Scholarship Award; 5 p.m. Little Mister and Miss Mason County (Main Stage), Junior Market Hog Show; 7 p.m. Garden Tractor Pull; 7:45 p.m. Fair Dedication; 8 p.m. Fair Queen Contest sponsored by Ohio Valley Bank (Main Stage), Annette Hanes Award, Brandy Barkey Community Service Award; 9:30 p.m. Greasy Pig (after Hog Show); 11 p.m. gates closed.
