The outdoor drama of the Siege of Fort Randolph is to play out at 2 p.m. on Saturday during a day of activities at the fort housed at Krodel Park. In addition, the fort will be open for tours and educational displays on Sunday afternoon. The annual siege kicks off the season for Fort Randolph which is open for tours and special events throughout the summer. Pictured here are reenactors on Friday morning preparing for a busy weekend of events. These reenactors inside the fort come from across the area and others set up encampments outside the fort as well, including an encampment of “sutlers” selling their special wares and goods.
