Scioto County Sheriff Marty V Donini says his office has been investigating a burglary in Minford, where a family member was the prime suspect — and that an arrest has been made in that burglary.

Donini said detectives started working the burglary that had occurred in the early evening hours Friday, and by 2 p.m. on Monday had made an arrest of Allen Sudbrook, 19, of Minford.

Detectives say the suspect allegedly waited until his family members were gone from their residence on Smith Perry Road and made entry into the home with two accomplices and stole several items of value. Some of those items have been recovered.

Sudbrook was held at the Scioto County Jail on $25,000 bond. Scioto County Sheriff’s Captain David Hall said there are more charges that will be presented to the Scioto County grand jury. He also said other individuals involved will also be arrested.

Sheriff Marty V. Donini credits the quick arrest to the information provided his detectives, by the victims and their family. Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini said anyone with information about the case should contact Detective Denver Triggs at 740-355-8245. All calls are kept confidential.
