Point Pleasant High School and Junior High School hosted a spectacular dinner for the folks here in town and elsewhere who attended on Dec. 12, 2013.
This annual Christmas dinner is where you can meet and see friends you haven’t seen in awhile and to experience first-hand how much work and talent goes into making this happen. The band and choir and other musicians and singers do a stellar job. All of the young folk, dressed to the nines, helping teachers and staff making sure all goes well speaks volumes about character development that they are taught daily by our teachers.
We should all be especially thankful for: the teachers, the aides, the food preparation folks, and the ancillary people who tend to our students in Point Pleasant and Mason County, on a daily basis each school year. They do an excellent job and sometimes we are lax in telling them so.
We are lucky indeed and this annual event proves just how fortunate we are out there in rural America. Thanks to the person who returned thanks to God before we ate. Thanks to all of you who make this a great happening each year.
