APPLE GROVE — Deputies with the Mason County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Apple Grove man after executing a search warrant Friday.

Eddie Huddleston, 61, was arrested at his Millstone Road home on three counts of receiving and transferring stolen property and possession with the intent to deliver prescription drugs and marijuana, Sheriff David Anthony announced in a news release.

During their search of the home, deputies found 900 pills as well as cocaine, a large amount of marijuana and $6,000 in cash, Anthony said. The deputies also seized 40 rifles and pistols, some of which were fully loaded and ready to use, as well as a stolen all-terrain vehicle.

He added that deputies began their search during the morning hours Friday, which continued throughout the day.

Huddleston was taken before a Mason County magistrate for arraignment. He was released on a $100,000 bond.

The case remains under investigation.

The statement saying that he impregnated his own daughter is purely false and slanderious in the courts. I am closely related to Edward by family. I respect other peoples opinions and there right to speak openly, but openly does not mean the right to create fasle statements. That my firends is slander.

WHY LET A SEX OFFENDER, WHO GOT HIS OWN DAUGHTER PREGNANT, THIS MAN IS A SEXUAL PREDITOR, THEN YOU BUST HIM FOR NUMEROUS DRUG, FIREARM CHARGES AND YOU SET BOND... WHAT THE HECK, WHAT PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD EVEN SET A BOND?????

very false indeed. you and your all caps statement need to get the facts straight. PREVIOUS RESIDENT? looks like you need to get caught up. Not all people with drug problems are demons and would do such a thing. He's my uncle and trust me I would never take up for someone guilty of such a thing. Other than the drug problem he's a good man. we all have our bad fault's. let me guess your perfect right? I've never had any trouble or any worry about being around him or my children. By the way he's a sex offender cause he's one of a million men who like young women. young women who lie about their age every day. I do believe she was like 17. what ol man wouldnt want to be with a woman who says she's 21. How many times has a lady lied about her age. thats why he got put on the list to begin with. get the facts. People like you are why the world is in such turmoil. what happened to loving everyone and helping your neighbor and just minding your own business if it doesnt effect you. especially if you used to be a resident. hahahah so quit coming in here with your all caps and yelling out lies you know nothing about.....

Thank you Mason County Sheriff Dept. It seems like every time I pick up a paper you have done it again. Please continue to get these people off the streets and stop them from selling this stuff to our children.

did anything change? nope bigger and better and more dangerous ones came in and took his place. detroit guys running around everywhere down there. I think I'd rather have an ol worn out country man trying to keep his youth and hanging out with kids that are going to do it regardless than 15 detroit dealers with no heart for anyone around this area. watch what Im saying. Its more dangerous than ever and not getting any better

Great job law enforcement!! Only regret I have is that our taxes have to support this creep while he is incarcerated. Milstone will be a safer community, however wvrja says he is not in western regional at this time. Is he out on bond? At any rate may the new sherriff administration continue to work toward reducind drugs in our county, keep up the good work!!!
