Norman D. Workman, 34, Apple Grove, was arrested early Friday morning at his residence on Oak Grove Lane, located off Jerry’s Run Road, after attempting to flee from arresting officer Dep. C. Jones.
The deputy was in the process of arresting Workman on a bail piece warrant when he fled. Jones reported that Workman ran through the woods, but was taken into custody shortly after escaping.
Workman was held at the Mason County Sheriff’s Deparment and transported to the Western Regional Jail.
