Lewis Jeffery Woodall, 85, of Point Pleasant, passed away on January 22, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was born on November 4, 1927, a son to the late William and Alpha Jeffries Woodall. He was a retired captain from AEP Barge Line, and was a member of the Church of God in Point Pleasant, and a member of the Teamsters, and American Legion Post #23 of Point Pleasant.

He is preceded in death besides his parents, by his wife, Helen V. Woodall; and by one step-son, Jay McDaniel; as well as eight brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his five children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and neighbors.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev Carl Swisher, Robert Patterson, and Ty Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant with full military graveside rites conducted by American Legion Post #23 Military Honor Guard of Point Pleasant, and U.S. Army Honor Guard of Charleston. Friends may visit the family from 10:30 a.m. until noon prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
