Reba V. Jones, 91, of Point Pleasant, passed away on February 6, 2013, at her home. She was born December 21, 1921, in Leon, a daughter to the late Holley and Belle Stone Morrison. She was a retired clerk and was an avid bowler. She also attended Pine Grove Church in Leon.
She is preceded in death, besides her parents, by her husband, Gail Jones; daughters, Minerva Jones and Rebecca Kidwell; son-in-law, Frank Kidwell; as well as five sisters and six brothers. She was the last of 12 children.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Vernon “Eddie” and Barbara Jones of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Chris Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Creston Cemetery in Leon. Friends may visit the family from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at the funeral home.
