Revna C. King, Jr., 84, of New Haven, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012. He was born on June 19, 1927 in Mason County to the late Revna C. and Vada Florence (Lewis) King. Mr. King was a member of the First Church of God, the American Legion Post 140 and a lifetime member of the Mason VFW #9926.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald Brent King; grandson, Paul Curtis King; two brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Esther King; son, Revna Curtis (Linda) King III of Racine, Ohio; sisters, Velma Luckydoo of Mason, Emogene Bailey of Chicago, Ill., Patsy (Lowell) Shinn of Leon; brother, Nick (Debbie) King of Racine, Ohio; grandchildren, Chastity (Mike) Young of Letart, Charity (Charlie) Warth of Letart, Brent (Tina) King of Hartford, Mathew King of Jackson, Ohio; great grandchildren: Kaula and Haylee Young, Jacob, D’Lynn, Delani and Kaylee Warth, Emily and Ethan VanMeter, and Bryce and Owen King; and several nieces and nephews.

Gravesides services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven. Military graveside rites will be conducted.
