This week the Mason County Commission presented the Point Pleasant River Museum with a donation of $3,500. The donation helps support programs at the museum which had one of its best and busiest years to date, according to Jack Fowler. Fowler, pictured fourth from left, accepts the check on behalf of the river museum from Commission President Rick Handley. Fowler said the museum’s next big event is Shanty Boat Night coming up on April 19. Also pictured, County Administrator John Gerlach, Clerk Diana Cromley, Commissioners Miles Epling and Tracy Doolittle.
