POINT PLEASANT— Point Pleasant native Jacob Hill was recently elected to the West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals Board.
At a recent West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals Convention, Hill was elected 2nd Vice-President of the West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals Board of Directors. It was reported he currently serves as the chairman of the Point Pleasant Sternwheel Regatta and President of the MGM Big Green Club at Marshall University.
“I am honored to have been elected to this position and look forward to serving our fair and festival industry in this capacity,” Hill said.
Employed full-time as a District Manager for City Ice and Fuel, Hill has also serves as a Rotarian in the Point Pleasant Rotary Club and as a volunteer for the Main Street Point Pleasant Block Party. A 2004 graduate of Point Pleasant High School, Hill earned an Associate Degree in Management Technology and a Regent’s Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marshall University.
The West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals is a nonprofit corporation serving as a conduit for information for more than 140 events from throughout the State of West Virginia and 100 plus affiliate members representing all facets of the special event industry.
