Despite some overcast skies on Friday morning, the sun still found an opportunity to peak through the clouds and brighten things up in the afternoon at Tu-Endie-Wei State Park, allowing several sightseers to get some pictures of the Battle of Point Pleasant monument, as well as the graves of Chief Cornstalk and “Mad” Anne Bailey. Also enjoying the rays, while it lasted, were the blooming flowers and trees on Fourth Street in downtown Point Pleasant.
