As part of the recent graduation events at Point Pleasant High School, teachers Lesley Dvosis and Stephanie Dickens organized a time capsule burial involving the elementary schools and the PPHS 2013 graduating class. This year, kids in kindergarten - second grade from Point Pleasant Primary School, Beale and Leon elementary schools and the senior class of PPHS participated. The plan is for the elementary school kids who buried their time capsule to dig it up when they are seniors and replace it with a senior time capsule. The 2013 seniors and following seniors will dig up their time capsule at their 10 or 15 year class reunion. The hope is this will become a new and long-standing tradition at PPHS and connect older students with younger generations. Also pictured are seniors from the Class of 2013 which helped bury their time capsule.
