GALLIPOLIS — Envy Ink held its second Salon session Saturday night at its Second Ave. location with even greater attendance than its first successful installment held in July.
According to Envy Ink owner/operator Josh LaBello, the number of participating artists grew from 17 in July to 25 in August, armed with a mixed bag of artistic mediums representing everything from painting and poetry to music and hand-crafted jewelry.
“I love the way these Salons are going,” said LaBello. “So many positive people full of various experiences and points of view coming together to check out what the other artists are working on. We get to talk to each other and share methods and motivations and hear music and touch artwork.”
The next Envy Ink Salon is slated for Saturday, September 29.
