POINT PLEASANT — Numerous contestants competed and a new set of winners were crowned during the 2012 Country Fall Festival Pageant at the West Virginia Farm Museum.

Winning the title of 2012 Miss County Fall Festival was Caroline Thompson of Letart. She is the 17 year old daughter of Matthew and Kendra Thompson, and is senior at Wahama High School. Thompson competed against three other girls to win the crown. She was crowned by the 2011 Country Fall Festival Queen, Meghan Bowles.

In the same category, taking the first runner-up and Miss Photogenic Award was Christy Piggott, 20, of Mineral Wells. Amanda Baker, 20, of Point Pleasant was named second runner-up, and the Miss Congeniality Award went to Jennifer Westfall, 18, of Point Pleasant.

In the Teen division, a total of eight girls competed, but it was Maggie-Mikala Criste, 15, who was crowned as the 2012 Teen Miss Country Fall Festival Pageant at the conclusion of the event. Criste is a junior at Point Pleasant High School and is the daughter of Mike and Kennah Criste of Point Pleasant. She was crowned by the 2011 Teen Miss Country Fall Festival Queen, Katherine Deem.

First runner-up and the Miss Congeniality Award in the Teen division went to Jocelynn Frye-Wilson, 14, of Point Pleasant. Peyton Lovell, 14, of New Haven was named second runner-up. The Miss Photogenic Award was received by Krystal Starcher, 14, of Williamstown. Other Teen Miss contestants were Monika Barlar, Elizabeth Rayburn, and Shiloh Wamsley.

Anna Litchfield was crowned the 2012 Junior Miss Country Fall Festival Queen. She is the 10 year old daughter of James and Bridgette Litchfield of Apple Grove. Runners-up in this division included Jessica Dalton, 12, of Gallipolis Ferry, first runner-up; and Melanie Smith, 12, of Point Pleasant, second runner-up. The Miss Photogenic Award went to McKenna Bronosky, 12, of Point Pleasant. Other Junior Miss contestants were Emily Deal, Josey Rollins, Emma Tomlison, and Julia Blair.

The 2012 Young Miss Country Fall Festival Queen is Kylie Billings. She is the 7 year old daughter of Ruthie Fisher of Gallipolis Ferry and Josh Billings of Point Pleasant.

Taking the first runner-up in this division was Olivia Brooks, 8, of Point Pleasant. Second runner-up went to Kendal Haynie, 8, of Point Pleasant. Miss Photogenic was Sofia Strobal, 8, of Vienna. Other Young Miss contestants were Victoria Sovine, Gracie Queen, Kortlan Bush, Allie Warth, Madison Roberts, Jenna Chadwell, and Ellie Wood.

In the Little Miss division, Hannah Pope rose above 11 other contestants to take the 2012 Little Miss Country Fall Festival Queen title. She is the 5 year old daughter of Phillip and Christina Pope of Gallipolis, Ohio.

Runners-up in this division included Audrey Burris, 3, of Gallipolis Ferry, first runner-up; and Jazahera Moore, 5, of Cheshire, Ohio, second runner-up. The Miss Photogenic Award went to Bailey Roberts, 5, of Coolville, Ohio. Other Little Miss contestants were Shelby Roush, Kendra Davis, Skyler Higginbotham, Emmaleigh Moodispaugh, Peytin Rossiter, Faith Meadows, Emmaleigh Wilson, and Delaney Roberts.

Cassidy Wilson was crowned the 2012 Tiny Miss Country Fall Festival Queen. She is the 23 month old daughter of Rob and Melissa Wilson of Point Pleasant. The first runner-up and Miss Photogenic Award went to Adyson Fetty, 35 months old, of Point Pleasant. And second runner-up was Alexis Roush, 20 months old, of Letart.

The 2012 Wee Miss Country Fall Festival Queen went to Kabella Fisher, 9 months old, daughter of Ruthie Fisher of Gallipolis Ferry. And the first runner-up in this division was Tasha Wilson, 11 months, of Glenwood.

The winners crowned will reign over the Country Fall Festival which takes place Oct. 6 and 7 at the farm museum.
