Sentenced
The following criminal case were recently heard and sentences handed down by Judge David W. Nibert in Mason County Circuit Court, according to court records filed in the office of Circuit Clerk Bill Withers:
State v. Christopher J. Arrington, 34, Gallipolis Ferry, sentenced to the West Virginia Division of Corrections for one to five years and pay restitution. Arrigington entered a plea of guilty to manufacture a controlled substance. Arrington was given credit for 272 days already served. His conviction date was Feb. 25, his sentencing date May 31 and effective sentence date Sept. 2, 2012. As of press time on Friday evening, Arrington was still being housed in the Western Regional Jail.
State v. Timothy Blake, 39, Point Pleasant, sentenced to the West Virginia Division of Corrections for not less than one nor more than 10 years for felony entering without breaking and six months in the regional jail for misdemeanor destruction of property. Sentences to run consecutively.
Defendant’s sentencing date was May 31 and he was given zero credit for time served. Blake’s conviction date was on March 29 when he entered a plea of guilty to felony entering without breaking and misdemeanor destruction of property. Blake is currently housed in the Western Regional Jail. He was also ordered to pay restitution.
