Homecoming isn’t just for high schoolers

Homecoming isn’t just for high schoolers. Just ask players and cheerleaders in the Point Pleasant Youth Football League who celebrated the league’s homecoming this past weekend with games, cheers and a helicopter which delivered the game ball to Ohio Valley Bank Track and Field at PPJ/SHS. Point Pirates’ flag football player Quinlan Jones won the drawing to hitch a ride with HealthNet which flew in the game ball. Pictured are the Wild Lions comprised of students in grades 4-6 from Leon and Roosevelt elementary schools, entering the field and later, shaking hands with the team captains from the Point Pirates, comprised of students in grades 4-6 from Point Pleasant Intermediate School. Also pictured cheering on their team, are cheerleaders from the Wild Lions squad.
