For Tuesday’s primary election, 7,313 of Mason County’s 17,877 registered voters, cast their votes for local, county, state and national races. There were 3,418 GOP ballots cast, 3,801 Democratic ballots cast and 94 nonpartisan ballots cast. In all, around 40 percent of registered voters turned out to make their voices heard and several turned up Tuesday night to hear the results.
