Contestants have been announced for this year’s Mason County Fair Queen Contest. The popular pageant takes place at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at the Mason County Fair on the main stage. POINT PLEASANT — Eight young ladies from Mason County will be competing for the coveted Mason County Fair Queen title next month during the Mason County Fair.

This year’s popular pageant will take place at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, on the main stage. Sponsored by Ohio Valley Bank, it will include presentations of the Annette Hanes Award and Brandy Barkey Sweeney Community Service Award.

This year’s contestants are:

BreAnna Ball of Letart, daughter of Tracy and Michelle Ball. A 2015 graduate of Point Pleasant High School, she is sponsored by All-Tek Environmental Services.

Delaney Bronosky of Point Pleasant, daughter of Julie and the late Christopher Bronosky. A 2015 graduate of Ohio Valley Christian School, she is sponsored by Gameday U.S.A.

Katherine Deem of Point Pleasant, daughter of Deron and Missy Deem. A member of the Class of 2016 at Point Pleasant High School, she is sponsored by Richard Walker CPA.

Torrie Epling of Point Pleasant, daughter of Thomas Epling and Tammy Young. A member of the Class of 2016 at Point Pleasant High School, she is sponsored by Epling Family Farms.

Conner Grady of Leon, daughter of Michael and Deanna Grady. A member of the Class of 2017 at Point Pleasant High School, she is sponsored by J and R Auto Repair.

Emily Keefer of Leon, daughter of Jesse and Valissa Keefer. A member of the Class of 2017 at Point Pleasant High school, she is sponsored by B and G Heating and Cooling.

Hayley Roush of Gallipolis Ferry, daughter of Lisa Roush and James Roush, Jr. A member of the Class of 2016 at Point Pleasant High School, she is sponsored by Ranch Dressings.

Mary Grace Workman of Point Pleasant, daughter of Doug and Vickie Workman. A graduate of the Class of 2015 at Point Pleasant High School, she is sponsored by Subway.

These eight young ladies will be crowned by 2014 Mason County Fair Queen Alexis Meadows. This year’s pageant directors are Aimee Stein and Andrea Henderson.

This year’s Mason County Fair is Aug. 10-15.
