‘Mayor’s Night Ride Series’ cycles into Summer 2016

The Point Pleasant Bike Trail’s “Mayor’s Night Ride Series” began on Friday. Held Fridays at 6:30 p.m. at Riverfront Park, prior to each Mayor’s Night Out Concert, the rides are free to cycling enthusiasts of all levels. Gabe Roush, who began the Point Pleasant Bike Trail, said the rides utilize the existing bike trail through the city and encourage people to get active and draw them to Riverfront Park. For more information on the rides, or the Point Pleasant Bike Trail, find them on Facebook. The Mayor’s Night Out Concert Series starts at 8 p.m. each Friday throughout the summer with the exceptions of Fridays that fall during the Point Pleasant Regatta and Mason County Fair. Pictured is Roush at front, talking to those who showed up for the inaugural ride of the season.
