Meeting the champs!

More than 100 people turned out for autographs Tuesday of the back-to-back Class A state championship Wahama baseball team at the New Haven Library. The autograph session kicked off the summer reading program at the Mason County libraries, which is based on sports. In addition, the women of St. Paul Lutheran Church of New Haven served submarine sandwiches, cookies, chips and drinks to those attending, with assistance from Subway. Registration is still being accepted for the summer program at the New Haven, Mason and Point Pleasant library locations.
