POINT PLEASANT — The Mason County Fair’s main stage was rocking Wednesday night when Bon Jovi tribute band Crush took the stage with country legend Gene Watson to follow on Thursday night, country star Mark Wills on Friday and the country hit-making duo the Swon Brothers on Saturday.

All shows start at 9 p.m. on the main stage.

On Friday, Aug. 14, Wills will perform his many hits to fair-goers, including: “Jacob’s Ladder,” “Don’t Laugh at Me,” “I Do (Cherish You)” and the seven-week No. 1 hit “19 Something.” Wills made his first appearance at the fair to a sellout crowd back in 1998.

On Saturday, Aug. 15 rising country stars the Swon Brothers take the main stage at 9 p.m. to close the fair.

“Many country music fans will remember them from ‘Team Blake’ in season four of NBC’s ‘The Voice’”, Brian Billings, fair entertainment committee chairman stated. “Arista Nashville recording artists debuted their top 15 single ‘Later On’ and followed up with the hit ‘Pray for You.’ They have been charming fans across the country. The brothers from Muskogee, Okla., were nominated for Duo of the Year for the 48th Annual CMA Awards. Zack and Colton will bring a great show to the fair and one that many will be talking about.”

Photos of the Watson performance were not available due to press deadlines on Thursday for Friday’s edition.
