Brandon Stephen Okey Russell, 20, of Hartford, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Hospital.

He was born September 24, 1990 in Gallipolis, Ohio, a son of Atishia Dawn and Steven Reitmire of Mason, and Todd Russell of West Columbia.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rick Cheesebrew, and Linda Russell; great grandparents, Okey (Dottie) VanMeter, and Ed (Mary) Perry; uncle, Allen Lee VanMeter; and his aunt, Misty “Gabby” Darst.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Michael Russell of Mason; sisters, Tessa Russell of Mason, Lindsey Russell of Point Pleasant and Keishia Russell of Mason; maternal grandparents, Ron (Cindy) Laudermilt of Mason; paternal grandparents, Randy (Cindy) Russell of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Charlie (Nancy) Reitmire of Pomeroy, Ohio; uncles, David and Steven Darst of Mason, Dave (Mary) McGain of Pa., and Mark (Teresa) VanMeter of Letart; Aunt Teetie of Letart; special friend, Tom Litchfield; and a lot of special buddies.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, May 3, at the Foglesong-Roush Funeral Home in Mason with Pastor Jason Simpkins officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
