She was born March 5, 1931 in Glendale, a daughter of the late Dr. Luther G. Sheets and Ruby Yoho Sheets Wetzel. Carole was a former medical secretary, a Methodist, a member of Ohio Valley Medical Center Garden Club, D.A.R. and Belmont Hills Country Club.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack D. Burkett and Jack L. Rosenberry; a sister, Vivien Flynn; and her brother, Samuel M. Sheets.
Surviving are her daughter, Rebecca K. (Robert) McMillan, of Point Pleasant; son, David D. (Nancy) Burkett; two step-daughters; one step-son; nine grandchildren; and several grandchildren.
Private funeral services were held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Cancer Research, or Arthritis Foundation.
