He was born June 21, 1961 in Mason County, a son to the late Willard B. (Jack) Leach and Betty J. Byus Thomas Leach. He worked as a plumber for FIORI Home Repair for eight.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Sandra Lee Leach Stanley and Shari M. Thomas Dunlap; and brothers, Paul Allen Thomas and Robert Burley Leach.
He is survived by ex-wife Florence (Sissy) Putney; son, Donald William and Jessica Leach II; two step-sons, Nathan Putney and Rod Putney; sisters, Patti and Steve Durbin, of Point Pleasant, and Ruth Ann (Tommy) Glenn, of Martinsville, Va., brother, Mark (Erma) Leach, of Gallipolis Ferry; brother-in-law, Gene A. Stanley, of Point Pleasnt; grandchildren, Kayleigh Leach and Gavin Leach; a niece and several nephews; and fiance’, Tina Myers.
Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home on Monday, Sept. 19 at noon, with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. Friend may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
