Candidate withdrawals
According to the office of Mason County Clerk Diana Cromley, two candidates for the Mason County Board of Education have withdrawn from the race and are Jimmy Davis of Point Pleasant (District II) and Patrecia McGuire Gray of Leon (District II).
Arrest
The Mason County Post of the West Virginia State Police reports the following arrest: Leonard C. Miller, 56, Hartford, battery on a police officer, assault on a police officer, obstructing, transported to Western Regional Jail, investigated by PFC A.B. Ward.
Marriage licenses
The following marriage licenses were recently filed in the office of Mason County Clerk Diana Cromley: Larry J. Kimbro, 29 and Christina M. Logan, 31, both of Point Pleasant. David C. Broughman, Jr., 35, of Point Pleasant and Leslee K. Vanmetre, 35, of Letart.
