William “Bill” Akers, 80, Bidwell, Ohio, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, in the Vinton Baptist Church, 11818 Ohio 160, Vinton, with Pastor Heath Jenkins officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2012, in the Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
