Thomas A. Brown, 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was the son of the late Woodrow and Ida Brown. He served in the US Air Force for four years, and was a member of the VFW Post 9926 and the American Leigon Post 140, and the Longdale Lodge in Letart.

He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Julia McKnight; brother, Daniel Brown; sister-in-law, Brenda Brown; and daughter-in-law, Rita Brown.

He survived by his daughters, Terri (Mark) Smith of Kenova, Lisa Syler of New Haven, Connie McDade of Myrtle Beach S.C.; son, George Brown of Mason; sister, Ruth (Phillip) Chrisman of Silver Spring, Fla.; brother, Robert Brown; and sister-in-law, Mary Brown.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 4, at the Foglesong-Roush Funeral Home in Mason with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Longdale Cemetery. Condolences can be sent to www.foglesongroushfh.com.
