JoAnn Ruth Errett, of Point Pleasant, W.Va., passed away on May 12, 2012, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born July 3, 1927, in Leon, W.Va., a daughter of the late Dencil and Helen Smith Cossin. She attended Point Pleasant High School. She was a homemaker and loving mother to her six children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Errett, Sr.; and her brothers, Arnold, Carl, Billy, Dave and Jimmy Cossin.

She is survived by her sisters, Joyce and husband, Lewis Harris of Eleanor, W.Va., and Janice Veazey of Point Pleasant; children, Susie Harmon, Bob and Jeannie Errett, Vikki and Ray Lieving, Dixie and Bruce McDonald, Kevin Errett, and Keith and Kaylene Errett; ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home by Pastor Carl Swisher. Burial will follow in the Leon Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012, at the funeral home.

JoAnn will be sadly missed by her family and many friends made over a lifetime in Point Pleasant, W.Va.
