She was a hardworking lady and assisted her late husband on their farm. She also was a homemaker, loved quilting and singing gospel music, and as a consequence of her affliction with Alzheimer’s, she reminisced mostly about her home place in Rockcastle. She loved her family and was very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born May 30, 1920 in Rockcastle, a daughter of the late William “Wib” and Bertha (Cochran) Blankenship.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arville E. Click; granddaughter, Shannon M. Click; brother, Bill Blankenship; and sister, Mabel Blankenship.
Survivors include a son, Oscar E. (Rhonda) Click of Leon; grandsons, Marcus Click of Wheeling and Michael Click of Leon; granddaughter, Rachel (Shawn) Jordan of Leon; great-granddaughters, Siera Crook, Salena Crook, Roma Jordan, Reilly Click and Angel Riley; sister, Betty Gibson of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6 at Casto Funeral Home in Evans with the Rev. John Hayman officiating. Burial will follow in Baden Baptist Cemetery in Leon. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
