Charles Baird, 83, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, formerly of Pomeroy, died Thursday, October 4, 2012, at Spring Arbor of Hendersonville. He was born August 4, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, at the Hendersonville Church of God. Private family burial will be held later at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
