Kenneth Edward Birchfield, 73, of Mason, died on November 12, 2012, at his home with his family at his side.
He was born on January 10, 1939, in Mason County, a son to the late Bud Birchfield and the late Anita Hall Birchfield. He was a welder in the construction industry.
He is survived by four children: Allen and George Ann Bush, Shawn Bush and Sierra Tucker, Myla Bush and Shane Evans, and Nikki and Chuck Moyers; two brothers, Charles and Cecil Birchfield; two sisters, Sally Meeks and Janet Davis; special friend Janice Casto; 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Norm Stickler officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery in Henderson. Friends may visit the family from noon - 1 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
