Circuit Court

The following cases were recently heard by Judge David W. Nibert in Mason County Circuit Court according to the latest court docket filed in the office of Circuit Clerk Bill Withers: State v. Sarah B. Hill, three years probation, court costs; State v. Robert D. Martin, sentenced to department of corrections, two concurrent sentences of one to five years; State v. Brittany S. Lambert, sentenced one year in Western Regional Jail, court costs; State v. Daniel A. Cartwright, trial date set 9:30 a.m., Feb. 5, 2013; State v. Michael A. Salmons, sentenced to one to five years with department of corrections; State v. Terry A. Edens, two years probation; State v. Robert C. Ramsey, reinstatement home confinement.

The sentencing of Matthew C. Woods, 25, Gallipolis Ferry, for second degree murder has been moved from Monday, Dec. 6 to 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20 in Mason County Circuit Court.

Arrest

The Mason County Sheriff’s Department reports the following arrest: Robert K. Rogers, 21, Mason, DUI, arrested by Varian.
