Fundraiser planned

POINT PLEASANT — The GFWC Woman’s Club of Point Pleasant is accepting orders for butterfly bushes as part of a fundraiser for Pleasant Valley Hospice.

As part of a program designed by the West Virginia Regional Director of the Southeastern District, the butterfly bush was chosen to be sold to raise funds for local community projects. The woman’s club chose to support Hospice due to the service Hospice provides to the community and because the butterfly is a symbol of Hospice.

Orders must be received by March 27. For more information or prices, call Joyce Gardner-Lee at 304-675-7097.

RIO GRANDE, Ohio — Lifeguard classes will be offered at 10 a.m. from March 28 to May 2 at the Rio Grande College Pool. CPR instruction is included.

The instructor will be Terry Shauer. For more information or prices, call 304-675-4474.
