Eastern High School junior Jenna Burdette became just the seventh female in school history to eclipse the 1,000-point plateau for a career Thursday night during a 64-55 victory over visiting Warren. Burdette drained a three-pointer at the 7:12 mark of the second quarter for her 1,000 point, which allowed the Lady Eagles to take an 18-15 lead that the hosts would never relinquish. Burdette — who has given a verbal commitment to the University of Dayton — had a game-high 32 points in the triumph. Burdette joins Jessica Karr, Jessica Brannon, Valerie Karr, Morgan Weber, Erin Weber and Kasey Turley in the Lady Eagles’ 1,000-point club. Jenna (14) is the daughter of John and Jill Burdette.
