Arrests
The Mason County Detachment of the West Virginia State Police reports the following arrests: Ronald E. Harris, 47, Leon, battery on a police officer, transported to Western Regional Jail, arrested by Cpl. K.M. Gilley. Rick E. Miller, 22, Point Pleasant, nighttime burglary, transported to Western Regional Jail, arrested by Cpl. K.M. Gilley. Andy G. Quimby, 30, Glenwood, possession of heroin, transported to Western Regional Jail, arrested by Sr. Trooper S.C. Allen.
Circuit Court
The following cases were recently heard by Judge David W. Nibert in Mason County Circuit Court, according to the latest court docket filed in the office of Circuit Clerk Bill Withers: State v. Ernest Roach, status hearing, remanded to serve sentence previously set by the court. State v. Gregory N. Richardson, status hearing regarding forensic, continued to 9:30 a.m., March 11. Kimberly C. Castillo, arraignment, bond set at $5,000, bond status hearing continued to 9:30 a.m., Feb. 5, trial at 9:30 a.m., March 19. State v. Brittany M. Black, bond hearing, bond set at $10,000. State v. Tommy A. Lee, pretrial continued to 11:30 a.m., Feb. 8. State v. Zachary L. Arms, pretrial hearing, continued to 10:30 a.m., Feb. 8.
