Born at 9:19 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2013, Aiden Issac Atwood came into the world and was recognized as the first baby of 2013 at Pleasant Valley Hospital. Baby Aiden weighed six pounds and 14 ounces and was 19 and a half inches long. He is the son of Ambrosia Patterson and Robert Atwood of Southside, and the grandson of Donna Patterson, of Mason County. As a result of being named the first baby of 2013, Aiden and his parents received a gift basket from PVH including items such as diapers, gift cards and a teddy bear.
